According to the WHO more than 15% of the world’s population have visible and invisible disabilities. Engineers with and without disabilities are tactically placed to drive technical and design innovations to harness the potential of those living with disabilities.

As engineers living with disabilities, we know the seen and unseen hurdles we, ourselves, have had to navigate to persevere in our profession. We have an opportunity to be mentors to those that follow us and to share our insights with our colleagues who may be struggling in isolation.
